CircuitMOM

CircuitMOM is the internationally recognised drag persona of Chicago producer and performance artist Matthew Harvat. Grown out of his earlier alter-ego Jean Poole and established in 1996, CircuitMOM has become one of the best known names in circuit party culture, bringing Broadway-scale production numbers, costuming and staging to LGBT+ dance events in Chicago, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York.

Harvat began working in the Chicago LGBT community in 1990, handing out safe-sex literature for STOP AIDS, and went on to run events and marketing at Roscoe's before launching his own production company. With business partner Edwin Martinez, CircuitMOM Productions has spent nearly three decades building large-scale queer nightlife experiences, much of it in service of charitable causes.

Named Best Nightlife Producer/Promoter by Out Magazine in 2011 and 2012, and inducted into the Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame in 2022.
